The new ordinances address the SUS (Unified Health System), Conitec, and contracts entered into by the Ministry of Health. They do not directly alter the process for updating the National Supplementary Health Agency’s (ANS) List of Health Procedures and Events, nor do they mandate the automatic adoption of the technology by private health insurance plans.
Indirect effects may arise. Clinical evidence, economic evaluations, pricing, and reimbursement models developed for the SUS could influence a company’s strategy regarding the ANS and health insurance providers. However, each system maintains its own rules and processes.
